STEAM Tools for Teacher Workshops The Smarter Balanced California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) Tools for Teachers is not just for math and English anymore... They now offer science lessons for 1st - 5th grade! Lake County 1st - 5th grade teachers are invited to join Jennifer Kelly, Lake County Office of Education Learning Support Specialist, for a grade specific Tools for Teachers lesson that you can implement in the classroom the next day. These lessons are both engaging and prepare students for the California Science Test (CAST).
