SUMMARY: As a Warehouse Associate, you will work cooperatively in a team to efficiently receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material, as well as handle pick, box, palletize and ship items to fulfill orders. Safety will be a main priority for you and your fellow team members; thus, you will work together to keep a safe and clean environment and follow safety procedures when utilizing Power Industrial Truck equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Sort incoming goods and prepare for inventory of items. • Accurately capture all product information into database. • Assemble containers, boxes, pallets and maintain inventory in an organized manor. • Properly store inventoried items using assigned “put away” structure. • Effectively communicate with co-workers and display teamwork in completing task assignments. • Always maintain inventory integrity and product safety. • Maintain cleanliness in warehouse, common areas and bathroom. • Follow all established standard operating procedures for given tasks. • Data Entry into Excel and inventory software. • Abide by all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization. ATTENDANCE: Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines; beginning and ending assignments on time; and scheduled work breaks; where applicable. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Recommended Two to three years prior warehouse experience and/or training. Associates degree (A.A.); two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees, and the general public. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Order Processing Systems; Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described her are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to use a pallet jack, move pallets, lift and stack boxes. The employee must lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. TRAVEL/WORK HOURS • Low: 90% warehouse / 10% Travel – local errands This is an office-based position that requires travel to other locations such as Post Office, Fedex, Staples, etc. Office work hours are from 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. Occasionally, extended hours will be required for this Full-Time Regular Non-Exempt Position.
