Painting Basics (2 hrs) Held at the new Business and Innovations Center by Cedar High School's football field. DIY 101 is designed to teach the layperson basic techniques and practices from an experienced handyman on how to tackle home improvement projects. This class will cover how to correctly prepare your home for your painting project. You will also learn what types of paint to use for specific projects and how to properly apply the paint using either a brush, roller or sprayer. Instructor: Swen Mikesell Swen Mikesell's extensive experience in the field of construction has taken him from simple home repairs to Superintendent of one of Utah's most prolific residential construction companies. Swen is dedicated to sharing his passion as a craftsman.
