Saturday, January 29- 10 a.m. - 4 p.m or Sunday, January 30- 10 a.m. - 4 p.mWhereas most classes offered at the Forge focus on the creation of practical objects such as hooks, knives, or fire pokers, this 6-hour class is designed to be a student's first foray into the world of sculpture and metal art. The course covers everything a student would need to know in order to create a piece of desktop sculpture which will balance precisely atop a forged steel base and spin for over a minute given the proper energy. Don't worry if this sounds intimidating. Whether you are looking to expand the reach of your artistic eye or you don't believe you have one, this class will provide ample instruction through demonstrations, example pieces, and hands on experience to allow even the newest metalworker to create a project that they will be proud to have made. Fee: $120 each day. We also offer other forging and welding workshops here :Roswell Art Workshops
