Le Nez du Vin is a sensory exploration of all things wine. Participants engage in a comprehensive Grape-to-Glass Wine 101. The hands-on experience hosted by LDV Winery focuses on expanding wine appreciation using all senses, particularly building an expertise in the range of wine aromas. Le Nez du Vin is a term that literally translates to "The Nose of Wine." The event includes a special tasting of LDV's award-winning wines, nibbles, wine and chocolate pairing, and aroma-based exercise that will be used to identify the various scents that are commonly found in wines. Ultimately, the goal is to make wine more approachable, increase your wine knowledge, engage all the senses, and expand your wine description vocabulary. Available Dates: Monday & Wednesday 3:00 to 5:00 PM; Sunday 4:00 to 6:00 PM LDV Winery is an estate winery growing Rhone varietal grapes in the Chiricahua Mountain foothills in Southeastern Arizona. LDV has brought a "piece of the vineyard" opening a tasting room/retail shop in Old Town Scottsdale on Stetson Drive near the Waterfront. The LDV Winery Tasting Room is the place to taste, purchase, and enjoy LDV wines. It is the local neighborhood hang-out and a great event venue.
