Looking for reliable, hardworking and honest construction laborers for six month assignment in northwest Phoenix area beginning mid-January. Previous construction experience is required preferably with utility infrastructure. Must understand and comply with all Company and OSHA safety policies and procedures Must be able to communicate with equipment operators Assemble trench boxes Must be able to dig trenches to place utilities using hand or trenching tools Must be able to perform fine grading of trench bottoms to correct elevation, manual placement and compaction of pipe bedding Perform incidental work items and duties of other crafts Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary. Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. Load or unload construction materials. Remove, fill, or compact earth. Follow instructions from supervisors. Perform site clean-up. Construction Laborer Requirements: Ability to bend, push, pull, stoop and/or twist Must be able to follow verbal instructions Positive attitude is required. Willingness to work extended hours as required (10-12 hour days) Possess a valid driver's license. Be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Prioritize safety. Workers must be punctual and reliable. Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as a general laborer in the construction industry. Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
