Join us to celebrate former WSU Baseball Coach Angelo Gust as he turns 80 at the WSU basketball games on January 15th. Please join us to celebrate alumni and former WSU Baseball Coach Angelo Gust as he turns 80 years old at the WSU basketball games on January 15th. Angelo Gust was Wayne State's head baseball coach from 1980 to 1988. He retired after the 1988 season as the Tartars' winningest baseball coach in both victories and winning percentage. From 1974 to 1979 Gust was an assistant baseball coach at Wayne State, in 1965 he lettered in football at WSU, and was inducted into the WSU Hall of Fame in 1994. You must RSVP each guest to receive your complimentary passes. You must purchase a separate ticket to the basketball game via wsuathletics.com to enter the fieldhouse.After, to receive entrance to the VIP concourse hospitality club level please follow the signs and sign in at the registration table to gain access for you and a guest.
