Press release from the Boston Police Department: December 12, 2021 Investigation Update: On October 6, 2021, the Boston Police Homicide Unit sought and were granted a Murder warrant out of West Roxbury District Court for Saquon Moore.  Additionally, Moore was charged with Carrying a Firearm without a License, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.  On the afternoon of November 17, 2021, Saquon Moore was taken into custody in Maryland.  On December 12, 2021, Saquon Moore was extradited to Massachusetts and is to be arraigned on charges of Murder, Carrying a Firearm without a License, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition in West Roxbury District Court.  Original Incident: At about 2:22 PM on September 8, 2021, officers assigned to District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 3108 Washington Street in Jamaica Plain. On arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, later identified as Arthur Miles, 34, of Boston was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident and is asking anyone with information relative to this investigation to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.    Community members wishing to assist this investigation anonymously can do so by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1 (800) 494-TIPS or by texting the word 'TIP' to CRIME (27463).
