Chance of precipitation is 40%. 2 killed in CT shooting, police say Two people are dead following a domestic violence shooting in Simsbury on Sunday night, according to police. Police said they received the call at 5:22 p.m. and found an injured person, Linda Halligan, 57, inside the house at 6 Woodleigh Place in Weatogue. She was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where she later died, according to police. Police then found Bernard Halligan Jr., 59, dead in the garage, police said. An 18-year-old female left the home following the shooting and went to a neighbor's home, WTNH News-8 reported. The husband, James Tamborra, 81, died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident while his wife, Barbara, 81, suffered serious injuries, NBC Connecticut reports. The hit-and-run accident occurred at 6:05 p.m. on Bank Street or Route 67 in front of the Klarides Village shopping center, Seymour police said. A police officer was assisting the couple cross the street at the time of the accident, NBC CT reports. Video shows unoccupied car rolling down a hill in CT Whoa!
