Hey all, I'm looking to start a Jerry Garcia Band-esq project. I play guitar and sing, so I am really looking for musicians to fill out the rest of the line up, especially keys and drums. I am an intermediate musician and don't have any big dreams of touring but would love to play local farmers markets, bars, weddings, and gigs around the Bay. My ideal band would be a group of musicians, of any skill level, who play to put a smile on each others and the audiences faces. No ego, just looking to throw down some good tunes and maybe a beer or 2. As far as the actual music goes I'm looking to cover mainly JGB and songs stuff like The Band, Warren Zevon, Little Feat, The Beatles, Blues classics, and maybe some old school R&B/gospel/soul stuff as well. Happy to play a Dead song or two as well, but there are tons of great Dead cover bands out there and I'm looking to really lean into the Late 80's & 90's Garcia Band sound.
