East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking two full-time (40 hours) /full year Case Managers for our Head Start Program at 8 John Chafee Boulevard in Newport, RI. EBCAP believes all families share the same aspirations for their children and will work collaboratively with the Head Start team to contribute to their children’s learning and developing experience. EBCAP is committed to the safety of our employees and clients during this COVID-19 medical crisis. We are currently conducting our interviews remotely. The Case Manager will provide education and case management services to Head Start families in both the family’s home and at the center. During the COVID-19 crisis, services provided by the Case Manager will be done through telephone and web-based applications to maximize the staff member’s health and safety. successful candidate will utilize a strength-focused philosophy and approach to building self-reliance through the Family Partnership Agreement. the ideal candidate will adhere to Head Start Performance Standards, agency goals, as well as personnel policies. The position requires a minimum of a Associates Degrees with experience in Human Services or a related field. Bachelors Degree preferred. The ideal candidate must know community resources, and enjoy working with children and families. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, however, not required.
