CAP, Inc. has an immediate full time opening for a general laborer position that will move into working as a shear operator in our brake metal department. This is an entry level position. We are looking to train someone for the long term.
What you'll be doing:
Read a tape measure
Operate a 10' and 12' Cincinnati shear
Assist customers picking up orders
Assist brake press operator bending aluminum and steel
Complete all work in a safe and professional manner
Operating a forklift
What we're looking for:
Authorized to work in the US
At least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Detail oriented
Ability to receive direction and work with others as a team
Any job related certifications are a plus (OSHA training, first aid & CPR, etc, Forklift)
Steel toed / Graphite boots.
*This is a labor intensive position and requires heavy lifting (up to 90 lbs) and being on your feet for long periods of time.
