Rehoming my adorable 3 year old male cockatiel. I got him from a pretty rough situation, but he is very fearful of larger birds and I want to do right by him. He would excel in a home where he can interact with other cockatiels or parakeets, or alone with a dedicated human companion. I’ve transitioned him to fruit pellets with a small percentage of seed, however, I still haven't been able to convince him to eat fresh foods. He is finger tame, and flighted, but will need some more lessons to enjoy being petted. He loves hanging out in the shower with his people! He spends nights in his cage, and during the day he seems content to hang out on his perch without much desire to fly around the house. He really enjoys being in the company of humans and attempting to woo anyone who walks by his cage. He will come with plenty of his mixed food (at least a months worth), but you will need to have your own cage and carrier for him. I am asking a small rehoming fee of $200 to ensure he goes to a willing and capable home. Please shoot me an email and tell me a bit about yourself and your experience :)
