We’re a local builder hiring a dependable and capable general laborer to join our fantastic team. The work involves site prep, loading, unloading equipment, clearing debris, helping out your team members, and any other tasks needed or directed by the project foreman. Responsibilities~ *Unload and stack all building materials and tools needed for a project so that everything is accessible and easy to find for the project *Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site to ensure that you and your team members are not injured *Ensure that all materials, tools and other debris from the build have been removed at the end of the project to make sure the work site is clean *Help your team with all stages of the build to make sure that the job is done as efficiently as possible *Be available to help onsite tradespeople and heavy equipment workers as needed, to complete the plumbing, electrical, roofing, and any other aspect of the project *Remove existing windows *Install new windows *Install interior and exterior window trim, screens and storm windows Qualifications~ *High school diploma or GED preferred *Must have your own transportation and valid driver's license *Must have excellent hand-eye coordination, good balance, and have the physical strength to be able to do the work *Must be able to take direction, work well independently and as part of a team for efficiency and productivity *Experience with construction builds is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates *Preference to candidates with experience using construction equipment such as forklift and power tools
