Description
2 year old male lionhead rabbit needs a new home with older kids or adults only.
He's litter box trained, inquisitive and funny, and he loves affection. He loves being petted but he doesn't like to be held or to sit in laps. He will sit next to you though and nudge if you aren't petting him enough! He is very interactive and playful, especially in the mornings and evenings. He enjoys supervised free roaming around a room or part of the house. He has a large hutch and a puppy type pen to give him extra room to stretch.
He loves kale, cabbage, and broccoli.
He's become more territorial and dominant with our younger kids (ages 3-8) despite our efforts to discourage that behavior. He needs more attention than my husband and I can provide to him. I don't know how to go about introducing another rabbit to him as a companion but if you have experience with this I think that would be helpful too. He's very social and really needs a buddy (human or bunny).
Rehoming fee of $120. He will come with everything you need: his hutch, his pen, 2 feeding dishes, a water bottle, 2 hay feeders, foam flooring for his hutch, litterbox, brush and comb, bed, a few toys, his tunnel, bedding, hay, pellets, salt licks and a bin to keep it all in.
