Thousands Without Power In San Diego's North County

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — Thousands of San Diego Gas & Electric customers were without power Monday in San Diego's North County. SDG&E reported on its outage map that more than 13,000 customers had no power in Del Mar, Cardiff, Encinitas, Fairbanks Ranch, Solana Beach, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Penasquitos, Torrey Pines and other communities. The outage occurred shortly before 9 a.m. Crews were assessing the outage to determine the cause.
