Here are the top 5 stories today in Atlanta: The Italy-based organization that gives the stamp of approval to Neapolitan pizza makers around the world has certified its first mobile pizzeria - the Atlanta Pizza Truck. After previously only certifying brick-and-mortar pizzerias making classic Neapolitan pizzas, the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana responded to requests for certification from Atlanta Pizza Truck owner Alessio Lacco, a Naples native. Lacco said he is proud to connect his home country to his adopted city and "bring a true Neapolitan pizza and experience to Atlanta." (Reporter Newspapers) The owner of three cats that were recently stolen along with his green Jaguar SUV is desperate to recover his pets. Duncan Cross said he ran into PetSmart on Howell Mill Road Tuesday night to get cat supplies for an emergency out-of-town trip. He left his three cats in black carriers inside the locked SUV, which someone managed to get in and take off with during the 10 minutes or less Cross was shopping. Anyone who has seen the stolen SUV or cats is asked to call the police. (CBS46 News Atlanta) Fulton County's first Shop with the Sheriff event was held Saturday in southwest Atlanta. Deputies with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office brought several families to a local Walmart, where parents and kids picked out holiday gifts. In addition to assisting families during the holidays, Sheriff Pat Labat said the event also helped bridge the gap between the public and law enforcement. (CBS46 News Atlanta)A man was shot by a would-be car thief around 8:30 p.m. Saturday at a Shell station on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, according to police. Someone walked up to the victim while he was pumping gas, demanded his keys, then shot him when he refused, police said. The unidentified victim was taken to the hospital, where his condition has not been released. (WSB Atlanta) After severe weather swept across the South and Midwest, including the Ohio Valleys, on Friday evening and early Saturday morning, Delta flight 1617 from Atlanta to Cincinnati was diverted to Cleveland "out of an abundance of caution," landing without incident. Delta dispatched a new aircraft to continue the passengers' travel to Cincinnati. "We apologize for the inconvenience and delay in travel plans," a Delta spokesperson said Saturday.
