Level Green is now hiring a small engine mechanic for repairing small engines and two cycle engines, hydraulics, snow removal equipment and conventional gasoline & diesel engines. To learn more, please visit our website:. What you’ll do Demonstrates basic knowledge of small engine equipment repair. Assist in repairs of our equipment's such fix lawn mowers, generators, weed eaters, chainsaws, power washers, tremors, snow blowers, and leaf blowers. Welding Metal Assist in maintaining a clean and well-organized parts inventory room. Assist in an effective, daily inspection of equipment. Lift/pull heavy objects. Demonstrates independent action and resourcefulness on the job. Performs duties in an acceptable manner and with minimal supervision. Remain self-motivated and deliver work product that is detail oriented and reflects Company quality standards. What We’re Seeking: Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively. Good communication skills with the ability to understand and follow directions. Extensive knowledge of grounds care, landscape, and snow and ice equipment. Small engine repair knowledge for 2 cycle engines: turf equipment reel adjustment, grinding and repair. Eagerness to learn and willingness to receive on the job training. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Working knowledge of the general operation of gasoline, diesel, and electric-powered equipment, the proper methods of servicing landscaping equipment, and the repair and adjustment of power mowing equipment. Ability to change oil, hydraulic fluid, and all necessary fluids in a variety of different equipment. Knowledge of tire repair and maintenance. Mechanical and diagnostic ability Ability to use common mechanical tools. Welding experience preferred. Well organized individual with a positive attitude Must be able to keep a clean work area, communicate well and be able to multi-task. This position requires overtime from time to time. Also, weekend work is required when necessary. Valid and current driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
