Crew Leader: Landscape Construction/Installation

APPLY HERE: Full time: 40hrs +/week with paid OT. Base schedule is M-Th (10-11hrs/day) with Friday open for make up days due to weather, over-time, or off! Must have's: - Commitment to lead by example - Good communication and reading skills - Knowledge and skill operating a track loader, mini excavator, truck and trailer - Knowledge of grading, drainage, irrigation, and planting best practices. - Strict commitment to safety - Valid NCDL and clean record - English/spanish preferred - Minimum 3 years experience in landscape crew leadership and management. Able to identify basic local plants and turf species to ensure proper care. Responsibilities: - Daily digital time sheet submission - Crew training - Job specification implementation - Transporting crews safely between jobsites - Managing work flow, i.e, receiving materials, equipment, communicating with sub contractors and vendors - Enforce Groundsmith policies and procedures - May assist other crews - Snow work in winter (operating plows, etc.) - Occasional overtime
