April 23, 2022: 10am to 3pm. Celebrate Earth Day by helping to transform vacant lots into vibrant community spaces. South End Earth Day is an annual volunteer day and celebration organized by Radix Center and AVillage. Volunteers meet at Radix Center (153 Grand St) between 9:30 and 10am, then go to over a dozen garden sites in South End and Mansion from 10am until 1pm. Planners are still paying attention to covid guidelines to determine whether or not there will be a BBQ at Radix Center in the afternoon, or brown bag lunch at garden sites.
