If you play keyboards and can sing well enough to keep people from running away in terror, you could be just right for our group. Gender, age, and appearance do not matter. The ability to play, have fun, and please audiences with a high-energy performance does matter. We are seasoned musicians who are drugs/drink/drama-free. We are also very good friends with one another, so there is a ton of support, appreciation, and care between us. Over the past year we have averaged two to three gigs a month. We want to expand our sound and our repertoire by adding a keyboardist. Our setlists vary according to the venue and the audience. So, for example, we might play three sets of classic rock one night, shift to pop the next night, and wind up playing a number of country tunes the following week. This means you must be capable of performing a wide variety of genres, add tasty chops, and provide the occasional solo. We have a handful of originals and are open to adding more. We practice once a week and typically play in the PDX area (but occasionally perform in surrounding areas such as Salem, Corvallis, Tillamook, etc.). We each come to practice ready to play and work hard on creating a very tight pro-level sound, including putting in a lot of effort into very tight pro-level harmonies.
