Temporary Maintenance Day Porter Position – Needed ASAP!

Property Management company is looking for a temporary Maintenance Day Porter to oversee two medical office buildings, which are next door to each other and in Van Nuys. This position is available right away and will last anywhere between one to three months. General Responsibilities: • Opening the building every morning. • Maintaining cleanliness of property grounds and all common areas, there is a nightly janitorial company. • Handle and resolve tenant maintenance and/or other issues that may arise. • Coordinate with vendors for any work to be completed as soon as possible. • Manage inventory for basic building supplies such as light bulbs, paint, building equipment, etc. • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed. Requirements: • High school diploma. • 3-5 years maintenance/facilities experience. • Capable of making minor plumbing and electrical repairs. • Able to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, and reports directly to the property manager for both buildings.
