Description
Up for adoption to experienced REST home. 2 large females and 1 large male. 120 gallon tank, matching base and (2) 400 gallon fuval canister filters, custom basking tops and lots of extras. More than I can think to list. This set up was about $2000 two years ago. I live in a trailer and the tank is consuming my living space. The two older turtles were rescued 2 years ago from a 20 gallon tank with about 3" of black water. Turtles are getting really healthy and laying eggs. Living a good life in a big tank. Very cool personalities. Names: Lola, Scotty and Jolene. They love fresh food from the fridge, dried bugs, worms, pellets and everything else that is healthy for a water turtle. Turtles are easily handled. I would love for a science teacher for their classroom or someone that is willing to really commit to the work these turtles take to keep them healthy and happy. I drink my coffee every morning and watch them watch me :-) They are smart and each turtle does and likes different things than the other two. I love these guys and wish I had a house that wasnt on wheels so I could take them along with me. Their tank looks really good, new and its a nice set-up. If you have a pond that would be even better. IDK I want the best for them. They deserve a wonderful life. They live about 30 years and I think the two bigger RES are 7-10 years old. The 3rd RES is a female not yet laying eggs. Please only respond if you know a lot about this type of turtle and can commit giving them a radically awesome life. They truly deserve the best. Small adoption fee to the right home. I need to travel for work and cant take them with me in a trailer.
