Hi everyone! My name is Jackie. I ma 41 year old female who was born with 3 eye conditions. One is retinitus pigmentosa and It causes night vision loss and side vision loss. I have glaucoma in both eyes and I have underwent four preventive glaucoma surgeries so far. Right now my glaucoma (high eye pressure) is thankfully stable. My eye Dr's say I've come along way. I also have had cataract surgeries in both eyes. As you know they put lenses in your eyes when doing this surgery that causes glare so driving under certain circumstances sun rain ect is a no no for me. Yes I can still drive but only on overcast days. My eye Dr's say my eye are very unique because they are. I also suffer from a eye disease called macular edema it is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY PAINFUL. I get eye swelling that builds up every 6-8 weeks for life and sadly for the rest of my life I have to get needles(shots) In my eyes to reduce the swelling so for a short period I'm better until six or so weeks rolls around and my eye swelling goes up again. I suffer from extreme headpain and I get really sick. It's hard to take care of my cats sometimes. I figured out using thc helps alot and cbd but as you know all of this cost money. The pain gets so bad sometimes and myself my pain medicine doesn't help. So I'm getting ready to move from Seattle to Renton because where I live is hard for me to survive. There will be stores walking distance to my apartment and my eye Dr's is down the hill. I'm thinking about the long run. Losing my drivers license someday. Right now I need to have my hid brighter headlights Installed in my car and the plastic peice that lights my gears broke the plastic peice next to my gear shift in my car. A fog light fuse blew I need money to get my car ready and safe to drive for the move because it gets dark at four pm now in Seattle. and my lamp that I control on my cellphone the brightest light blew out I need my living room lamp replaced so I can see. My lighted magnifier glass is starting to cut in and out so pretty soon I need to replace my magnifier glass (my eyes) the only way I can read. It runs $200. I would use my eye glasses but I am unable to read with them with no light. My magnifier is the only way I can read and I have contacted the services for the blind but they said they would only help me once. Since they gave me a magnifier in 2011 I made it work for 10 years the I had to pay cash for another one. Now it's going in and out. I am struggling and all the vision stuff I need help with cost money. I have been doing it all on my own since 2011 and now with so many issues at once I've realized I need help. So I decided to start a go fund me page in hopes to reach out for help. I'm struggling. I have no family no one who helps me with these things. So I am asking for your help. Anything helps. I need a big screen TV voice activated too. Eventually my eye sight will be like looking through a straw. So this would help me so much. I'm hoping to only raise 2000. I'm not looking to get rich by doing a fundraiser I'm simply an honest person seeking help. I am Independant and I hate asking for help but vision stuff is so costly and with no job due to being disabled I'm struggling. Please if anyone.
