Jay has been a classically-trained disciple of the sitar, but has had his skills and musical essence transferred to the electric guitar. Mac is a highly-skilled player of the six-string electric bass. The duo creates a palpable fragrance unique to each raga (scale) that is played. We've been having a lot of fun over the years, exploring the spaces and dimensions of music, emphasizing the purity of improvisation. We'd like to open the space to accompany the voice of a clarinet. We've experimented with other players over the years, and we've determined that most instruments are "too much." Don't get us wrong, we're not being rigid/uptight bandmates; don't worry, we have senses of humor lol we're just looking for something light, intentional, and beautiful. Though a rarity of success, we're still sending this out and seeing what comes of it.
