We are currently hiring a Lead Installation Tech and an Installation Tech Immediately in our Richardson location. We will be conducting interviews this week! Please text me at 214-642-7642 to schedule a time to talk. The Lead Technician is responsible for leading and managing installation projects within data centers and critical environments. The projects involve installing various types of doors, walls, ceilings, etc. for the purpose of optimizing data center air conditioning. Carpentry skills are preferred. The Lead Technician will serve as the project manager for each project … leading a team of technicians, as well as, engaging with the customer to ensure expectations are managed and/or met. Travel is required. Required Duties and Responsibilities: -Report directly to the Project Manager. -Responsible for the quality of service and timely completion of the assigned job. -Support the field technicians in their work in such a way as to keep them efficient through continual training and personal coaching. -Train new employees as needed. -Maintain the inventory in the work vehicle each day, including additional equipment needed for specific jobs. -Ensure that all equipment is in perfect working order and exceptional appearance. -Keep accurate records of all work performed by themselves and their crew on work orders. -Accurately fill out all timecards for their crew members and themselves at the end of each day as needed. -Set an example of professionalism for others to follow. -Strive for good, overall company morale by portraying a courteous positive attitude toward the customer and other employees. -Ensure employee’s personal appearance and uniform adheres with the dress code policy. -Act as the company liaison to the customer as related to the services performed. -Take personal responsibility for correcting customer service problems. -Correct problems promptly and decisively. -Demonstrate responsiveness. -Periodically travel out of town to lead a project installation from start to finish. When traveling, you will be paid your regular salary PLUS 20% on top of regular wage AND a $35/day travel bonus. Requirements: High school diploma Carpentry skills preferred Valid driver’s license Pass Drug Test Background Check clear of felonies, misdemeanors considered on a case by case basis. Lead Tech Hourly pay rate is $20/hour when working on local jobs. Hourly pay PLUS 20%/hour when traveling out of town AND $35/per day per diem when traveling. Full Benefits are available Install Tech (not Lead) is $18/hour PLUS 20%/hour when traveling out of town AND $35/day per diem when traveling.
