Some people take good care of their animals, and if that's you, great! But PLEASE - think twice before you get puppies, kittens, bunnies, gerbils, and other critters for your kids at Christmas. The pet is great for the first few days. Then it has to be walked, cleaned up after, fed, taken to the vet, etc., and it's often no longer given the love and attention it deserves. Consider getting your kids a stuffed animal - it will most likely be enjoyed just as much and won't be left without attention. Just think about it please.
