Our client, a premier food distributor, is seeking to hire qualified and hard-working In-Store Shoppers (Order Pickers) for full-time positions at their main facilities located in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Must have at least 6+ months of prior, relevant experience working in a warehouse environment. AM & PM Shifts Available Offering competitive compensation + EXCELLENT BENEFITS! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Select/Pick products quickly and accurately using computers, RF Scanning Guns - Collect merchandise from the distribution center and safely transport materials to the shipping bay - Ensure that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping QUALIFICATIONS : - Minimum 6+ months prior to relevant warehouse experience - The ability to work weekends is a MUST - Must be able to work 8-10 hour shifts (shift duration occasionally varies based on business needs) - Must be able to comfortably lift and maneuver 40-50 lbs. - Must be able to communicate (verbally) and read in English - Hiring for immediate start!
