Turn your food into spheres! Bonus level: cocktails! Just in time for New Year's Celebrations! Making spheres out of food - what can be better? Only cocktails in edible spheres! Everything is better when shaped like a sphere! Soup as spheres! Purees as spheres! Make your own boba! We need to go deeper - green pea puree that turns back into pea-shaped spheres! You will learn the Reverse Spherification method, an easy and safe way to turn liquids into spheres and make amazing presentations for your dishes and drinks. You will be making your own food and drink (mocktails only during class...sorry!) during class. You can also purchase an additional kit to make your own at home (and directions for making them with alcohol). How to find us: We are in the first floor of the apartment building. Enter the main door and proceed past the elevators. Take the first hallway to the right. Exterior doors lock at 8:30pm. If you are not a member with a door code, please plan to arrive before then. North End Makers is a community that runs a makerspace in North Seattle. We are an all-volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit. You may, however, transfer your ticket to another person who is 18 or older. If you need help finding someone to take your spot, you are welcome to post in the class event on our Facebook page or Discord, or ask us to share your email address with the class waitlist. For your personal safety, please wear closed-toe shoes, tie long hair back, and avoid any dangling jewelry or baggy clothing. You do not need to bring a paper ticket. Save a tree.
