Utah Health Insurance Association (UHIA) annual Education Conference. Three hours of CE credit for licensed producers/brokers approved. The Utah Health Insurance Association (UHIA) is happy to be bringing back its’ annual Education Conference. This year’s theme is Utah Health Care: What Is on the Horizon? The Conference is scheduled for Thursday, January 13th from 9:00 am to Noon at EMI Health, 5101 S Commerce Drive, Murray, Ut 84107. Three hours of Continuing Education credit has been approved. Participants must attend all three hours to receive the credit. Speakers and participants include Jon Pike, Utah's Commissioner of Insurance, Rep. James Dunnigan, Rep. Steve Eliason, and Senator Luz Escamilla as well as representatives from the local health insurers and a national guest. The conference will cover topics in legislation and regulation of Utah's health insurance marketplace and there will be a Q&A panel discussion about behavioral health challenges and suicide in Utah.
