Hello there, Our red eared slider was rescued off the street from someone who had her in a box. She is 3 years old, very active and healthy, and is unfortunately outgrowing her tank in our very small apartment. We are looking for someone to take over and are willing to humanely and ethically care for her. Must be willing to commit to her safety and happiness as we have during our time with her in our care. Will gladly give over tank, food, filter, basking stand and lights. She is low maintenance however you need to clean her filter at least once a week and occasionally fill up the tank with more water. She needs a larger tank, currently she is in a 20 gallon and needs an upgrade to a 40-60gallon. THIS IS NOT A CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR CHILDREN. Turtles require adequate care and attention, they are not objects or gifts as they are living, breathing animals. To make sure you are serious about adoption, we will ask for a $75 adoption fee. Considering all the equipment she comes with, we feel this is not much to ask for.
