Winter Solstice Celebration As the winter season approaches and we go inwards, I love to share sacred space with friends… both old and new. Winter Solstice Celebration As the winter season approaches and we go inwards, I love to share sacred space with friends… both old and new. No matter what holiday you celebrate at this time of year, please consider yourself welcome to join us in this communal celebration. Katarina Amadora of Temple Amadora and Anat Shamash welcome you into a sweet contemplation of the gifts and the challenges of 2021 as we look forward to creating much beauty in 2022. We will gather at 3 pm to allow everyone time to land and connect. This is a potluck style gathering, and we encourage everyone to bring something nutritious and delicious to share. There will be a live Rock & Roll band, “Nick-A-Time” starting at 5 pm followed by a sacred Solstice Ritual at 7 pm. We will then end the evening with a 2nd set from the "Nick-A-Time" band followed by some open jamming until 10 pm. We will be collecting a $20 suggested donation at the door to pay the musicians and other expenses. There will be a cuddle space, a dance floor, conversation, good food and company, and you can even bring your own instruments to jam if you desire. About your hosts: My name is Katarina Amadora and I am an Ordained Priestess as well as being a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Intimacy Coach. Temple Amadora is a space which I have created as part of a long time desire that I have had to create a space where I could nurture community, host events and workshops have a space where I could both teach and host other outstanding teachers. Come and help me inaugurate this very special space and envision what we are going to create in the New Year. Anat is our amazing co-host, who is the producer and the promoter of the event! You will also love to see her talented Dance routine! Nick-A-Time will feature a 5 piece dance band playing good old Rock N' Roll, R & B, Pop and much more! P.S. - This is an indoor/outdoor event! We will have some heaters and/or fire pits outside, but please dress in layers so you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings in its entirety! Also, respect others, wear a mask where appropriate (indoors), social distance when needed, and most importantly, stay home if you are not feeling well. Thanks! We will have a few tests available for purchase at the door for anyone who is unable to get one in advance. There are free testing sites available - You may still get your results on time if you go to one of them on Thursday or Friday before the event.
