I need your help! Do any of you know anyone looking for a sweet new family member? We are looking to re home Clyde to the right CALM person or family who has a fenced in back yard and time to spend with this smart loving pup. He's very special in deed: Part Basette Hound, Australian Shepard, and Great Pyrenees, mix. He loves to play with his friends and is slow to meet new dogs but a very loyal friend to his crew of dog friends. He is 21 months old, and what I call, 'on the spectrum', because he is really tuned into the energy around him, a stress free home and owners is must. As I've gotten to know and train him, over the last 21 months, he is really smart, responsive and coming a long way with what makes him nervous. (YAY super exciting ). He needs a calm confident person and home, he'd probably love agility training, and some fun brain games, and he will continue to blossom. He currently on Fluexotine, and this has really helped him ground down and be in his body, allowing him to train against lunging or nipping dogs and or people. We had that happen twice, and now he seems, way less fearful. (Fluexotine is a generic kind of Prozac, which is only $10.00 a month). Our hope is to find the right someone/s who has more time and avilability then we do, to continue to support Clyde... he is such a sweet authentic wonderful friend, who can bring a lot of joy to the family. We are full plate over here, and know that it is possible that there is a better someone/s for him. We travel a lot and it would be nice for his people who travel less.
