Seeking bassist and drummer- variety band

OK, it is that time.. again. I am seeking a seasoned/capable/dependable bassist and drummer with some vocal ability to put a working /gigging variety band together ASAP. Game plan: 1. Do at least enough rehearsing to get up and running with a good sound and presentation to be able to get repeat bookings anywhere we play. 2. Try to make it more fun than work. 3. Play well, enjoy doing it, get paid. OH No ! The dreaded drive time to rehearsal ! Houston/Gulf Coast it is a big area. Someone is going to have to drive as it is unlikely that any of us live next door to each other. Best way to get around this is to have a FEW "Well Planned", "Serious" sessions with all involved doing their home work, coming prepared rather than having a bunch of mediocre sessions. If we have the right crew... 2 or 3 rehearsals should get us up and running. Age or gender is no issue, as long as you are not butt ugly in appearance or personality and can play reasonably well with others. Rock, Country, Blues, Pop from 60's 70's 80's & now.
