Miami Beach Bar Association 75th Birthday Celebration and Installation Reception - December 14, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm Miami Beach Bar Association’s 75th Birthday Celebration and Installation Reception will be on December 14, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Rooftop of the Moxy Hotel in South Beach. The Mayor will be attending and giving a short speech, and there will be a plethora of elected officials, judges, attorneys and prominent business people and of course incredible residents. Aaron Resnick will be installed as the new President and the 2022 officers and directors will also be sworn in as we thank current President Josh Levy for his incredible leadership during a difficult 2021. There will be an open bar and heavy passed appetizers and music by DJ NOEL. The Miami Beach Bar Association (“MBBA”) was organized in 1946 by a small group of Miami Beach attorneys. Philanthropist and local attorney Baron De Hirsch Meyer was elected as our first President. Many of our members have gone on to serve as judges, city officials, and President of The Florida Bar. MISSION STATEMENT: To promote respect for the law and the justice system through service to the community and to the legal profession, while encouraging collegiality and Continuing Legal Education among our members through monthly CLE seminars, luncheons, and other activities and events.
