Description
Did that cute little tortoise, lizard, or snake get bigger than you imagined? Do you find it too costly to properly care for your little buddy? Did the kids lose interest, leaving you to care for their pet(s)? Such is a common occurrence of the pet trade. No matter the reason, if your reptile is now in need of an experienced caretaker and forever home, we are here for you and them alike! I am an experienced reptile keeper and much of my mission is to provide the animals in my care with the best lives possible. After over a decade and a half of reptile husbandry experience (and even longer with warm blooded critters), I am finally in the position to fulfill my dream of starting a rescue! I am not looking to rehome/sell animals in my care, but give them a forever home on our land here in East Texas. I have available spaces for adults and juveniles of almost every species and I'm currently in the process of building new climate controlled enclosures and quarantine facilities for future residents. And if I can't take it on, odds are, someone in my circle of experienced stewards can. And we'll be happy to get you in touch with the right person! We know how it is, the only thing guaranteed in life is that circumstances change! We're not here to judge anybody for wanting the best for their beloved pet! We truly want what is best for the animal. We have recently acquired a new and larger property and we're ready to give the best home imaginable to all types of reptiles. From large Sulcatas, to small Leopard geckos, we have adequate space and habitat for all! If any of the above describes your situation, please, don't hesitate to contact us! P.S. We are always looking for caging and materials in the forms of greenhouse siding, lumber, tanks, aquariums, food grade bins, mesh for cages, etc. DISCLAIMER: This is NOT a business and we make no money by taking in unwanted pets. Nor is that our goal. We are doing this out of our love for reptiles and animals in general, with the hopes of eventually opening up a reptile park to help educate the public. And of course, we always welcome any donations (monetary or otherwise) to help offset the costs of feeding/housing the animals. Thank you for your time.
