What makes you feel like America was safer with trump in office. He reduced our military budget by 11 b billion dollars. He reduced Veteran funding. Violent crime rates went up 6.7% nationwide while Trump was in office. I am not blaming trump for the violent crimes, but he certainly did not life a finger to reduce crime rates. Trump refused to call the national guard out to help during the Jan 6th attack ons the capitol. Biden has increased funding to law enforcement agencies nationwide. Biden has reallocated the 11 billion dollars in funding back to our military. Gavin Newsom increased funding to law enforcement agencies in Ca and increased our state firefightingstaff by 400 firefighters. Newsom assed 11 new firefighting aircraft to our cal fire fleet. Newsom Trained the national guard to help fight wildfires. I feel safer now than when Trump was in office.
