Press release from the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council: Dec. 11, 2021 Fast Co-Founder and CEO Domm Holland has joined the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council as an executive committee member and will serve on the EDC's board. His Fintech company Fast has also been added to the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council as a Circle of Champions Investor, the EDC's highest level of commitment. Fast is the only technology company that is currently represented on the executive committee, joining leaders from some of our community's largest economic engines and Fortune 500 companies, including Tampa International Airport, Port Tampa Bay, Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, and The Mosaic Company. "Fast is an important part of Tampa's evolving economy and will play an integral role as we continue to grow Tampa's reputation as a top destination for technology companies," said Craig Richard, president and CEO of the Tampa Bay EDC. "We're excited and thankful to have Fast join the EDC at this meaningful level. Domm's insight and guidance will be invaluable to us when recruiting new tech companies and helping our existing tech companies expand." This past August, Fast announced it was expanding to Tampa with a new East Coast hub in Tampa and plans to hire aggressively in the area. Holland also relocated to Tampa and has since become a passionate advocate for the city and its growing tech ecosystem. "The Tampa Bay Economic Development Council has played a meaningful role in building an entrepreneurial ecosystem to help companies like Fast flourish in Tampa," said Holland. "I'm bullish on the opportunity in Tampa and look forward to propelling the region forward even further as a destination for top tech companies and talent." Widely known as the "World's Fastest CEO," Holland is an entrepreneur and Australian native. He has been recognized as one of Fast Company's Most Creative People in Business. Holland founded Fast in 2019 with Co-Founder and COO Allison Barr Allen. In that time, Fast has grown from two co-founders to more than 300 employees and raised $124M from Stripe, Addition, Index Ventures, Susa Ventures, and Sugar Capital.
