Two arrests have been made in an October robbery and murder in Baldwin. First, today's weather: Mostly sunny. High: 51 Low: 41. Here are the top four stories today in Merrick: A 15-year-old girl was killed and a 38-year-old woman is in critical condition after a crash in Woodmere involving a drunk driver. It happened at the intersection of Peninsula Boulevard and Edward Avenue on Saturday night. Arlin Javier Aguilera was arrested. (Patch) Two arrests were made in a fatal shooting in Baldwin. Freeport resident Darin Semple and Queens resident Devin Obleanis have been charged with the murder and robbery of Rafael DeLossantos, found on a sidewalk in October.
