This Act applies to procedures and medical care provided by out of networks specialists at an in-network facility,such as a doctor in the emergency room who is not in network on your medical plan.. If you ask for the service or call in your own specialist who is out of network, it will not be considered a surprise bill.To allow the bill to be paid by your insurance provider, you need to submit the healthcare provider bill to your healthcare insurer as a surprise bill!
