Backyard breeders churn out pits, rotts, German shepherds, Belgian Malinois, chows, cane corsos, huskies, herding dogs. They sell them by posting cute pics of these babies. But they grow up and can be very difficult dogs to manage because they are 'working' dogs that need lots of attention, exercise, training, and management. Close to 50% of them end up either dumped at the shelter or somewhere worse....or killed by the breeders or the owners. PLEASE DO NOT BUY PUPPIES FROM SLIMEBAG BACKYARD BREEDERS ONLINE. PLEASE DO NOT BUY PUPPIES UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU HAVE THE TIME, MONEY, PATIENCE, ROOM FOR THEM. THERE IS NO BIGGER TRAGEDY THAN ALL THE DOGS THAT ARE KILLED EVERY YEAR BECAUSE THERE ARE SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH STABLE HOMES FOR THEM.
