iso bird to adopt

I'm looking to adopt a bird. I'm not really picky about the species or age as I can deal with a tropical bird or a pigeon, it doesn't really matter to me. I just want something that I can enjoy as I wake up in the morning. I used to have a parakeet and he would sing every morning and then we'd spend the day together, and he'd sit on my head as we went about our business. I miss him a lot. I'm hoping there's another bird that can give me the same thing. Will pay rehoming fee.
