large tortoise needs forever home

I’ve had Sherman the tortoise for about 15 years now but I’m moving and I need to find a permanent home for him. He needs to be outside and have a large sturdy pen. There is no charge for Sherman however you do have to purchase his very nice homemade hut that is heated and that he’s lived in his whole life with me. You must have large tortoise experience if you want to adopt him and there will be a thorough inspection of his home and interview. He is in African sulcata tortoise.. around 30 years old. He can cost about $30 a week to feed and go through quite a bit of food in the summertime. If you’re interested please let me know what your qualifications are and you must on the property that you’re at. I will not adopt him out to anybody that rents as if you move you’d have to rehome the tortoise. He weighs about 85 pounds and not easy to move. He really needs to be house by himself as he can be aggressive with other tortoises. Jim
