I have two dogs that would preferably be rehomed together as they have been friends for 7 years. Going to give you all the details and hide nothing so you can make an informed decision as I don’t want them ending up in a bad situation. 1 10 year old Male Orange & White shorthair chihuahua 1 7 year old Female Black & White pitbull boxer mix Have to rehome due to major life changes, baby on the way, finances. Both do well with cats but not well with other dogs or small children. The pitbull has bitten another dog (it was defending its property and people but I would not recommend bringing her around any other dogs) A home with no other pets and no small children would be the best fit for them. Additionally a fenced yard would be ideal as the chihuahua will wander out to roads if not carefully watched. They are both good dogs and past their puppy days so they are not crazy high energy. Kennel trained and potty trained though if the chihuahua is left out all day without potty breaks he will find a place to pee. They are both trained on commands Chihuahua knows sit, lay down, roll over, high five, and spin Pitbull knows sit, lay down, roll over, shake, high-five, heel, and also knows up (stands on back legs) and bang bang! (play dead). The chihuahua growls sometimes but he hasn’t bitten anyone in 4 or 5 years and has only broke the skin once it was very minor. Will consider rehoming separately to good homes. Chihuahua must have a home no other dogs and no young children. Pitbull must have a home with no other dogs and preferably without small children.
