Press release from TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce: December 10, 2021 Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriot-Pottstown/Limerick Celebrates Ribbon-Cutting (Pottstown, PA) – The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott-Pottstown owners, staff, friends, and business partners were joined by TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce to commemorate the completion of the newly renovated hotel with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. The 118-room hotel property, formerly a Comfort Inn, officially opened as a Marriott hotel in August, after the renovations were complete. The property, located at 99 Robinson Street, Pottstown, is owned by Pottstown Lodging Partners LP and managed by Infinity Hotel Group LLC. The renovations included the lobby and public area, dining room, fitness center, business center, guest rooms, and décor. In attendance at the ribbon cutting celebration were Fairfield Inn & Suites owners Mayur Chheda and Mital Chheda, hotel staff, as well as PA State Representative Tim Hennessey, Pottstown Mayor Stephanie Henrick, TriCounty Area Chamber President Eileen Dautrich, Pottstown Area Economic Development Executive Director Peggy Lee-Clark, as well as many others. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Director of Sales David Drubin and General Manager Brian Cottman offered tours throughout the evening to show off the renovations and the hotel provided a light reception. Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott-Pottstown offers a fitness center, an outdoor patio with fire pit, an outdoor swimming pool, and a meeting/event room that can accommodate up to 40 guests. TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce (TCACC), the tri-county region's business advocate since 1927, is a membership-based organization serving businesses in southeastern Berks, western Montgomery, and northern Chester Counties, as well as along the Route 422 Corridor.
