Press release from the University of Alaska Anchorage: December 10, 2021 The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) College of Health is searching for a full-time administrator for its Alaska Child Welfare Academy, a principal center for advancing child welfare practice across the State of Alaska. The Academy is devoted to the professional development of practitioners in the areas of child and family well-being, and child welfare social services. The incumbent will lead the rechartering of the Academy through the broadening of mission, aims, instructional programs, and contracts supporting practice advancement among professionals constituting the child welfare workforce in Alaska, including workforce supported by Alaska's tribal organizations, ethnic associations, and organizations devoted to protecting and advancing the well-being of underserved populations. In addition, the position will secure and maintain accreditation of the Academy by a nationally recognized source.
