In need of a part time caregiver/companion for my adult daughter with special needs-cerebral palsy and blind. She is in a wheelchair. Our home is equipped with a ceiling lift as well as a wheelchair accessible van. Duties would include assisting with all aspects of daily living such as bathing and dressing, meal prep, minimal food assistance, etc. Outings are encouraged as she is very social-movies, parks, bowling, library, shopping. Work days would be Friday 4:30 PM-Monday 8:30 including overnight stays. Background screening is mandatory and consist of fingerprinting, FDLE and FBI screenings. Non-smoker. Resume and references required. References will be checked. Please do not apply if you do not have an understanding and experience with special needs.
