Description
Dogs will get loose if they can. They will run away or if there's no lock on your gate, someone will take it. Check your fence line perimeter each week and after every storm for weak areas or signs of digging. Make sure the dog isn't left alone for too long outside. Make sure everyone that lives in the house knows not to leave doors open or put the dog in dangers way. Get a crate and crate the dog if there's a situation where any doors to the outside might be left open. Think of your dog as a toddler that you gave birth to. People don't lose their toddlers, so why would the ever lose their pet? It's avoidable if you are thinking and aware of what's going on. this world is too dangerous for them to be out there on their own. Below is a link on what to do if your dog gets loose and also preventative measures and tools. The first thing I do that they don't mention is immediately go to the nearest park and call out the entire ride and drive slowly.
