Dog with bite history needs an experienced foster/adopter

Tazz is the sweetest dog 99.999% of the time. He is afraid of some sounds and when he hears them, if you stand in the way of his escape, he growls. If you then try to grab his collar, he will bite. He doesn't bite if he isn't grabbed. We've been able to just put a noose-lead over his head and lead him away when he's like this. He'll walk into his crate and will remain fairly calm there. He would be fine in an adult-only home. While he's good with our kids we haven't let him be around them since he nipped a little boy. A bite to a kid could mean his death, so we aren't willing to chance it. Tazz is crate traines, walks nicely on a leash, and loves female dogs. He is OK with male dogs but we prefer he live with a female dog 40-80lbs so he has a playmate and no chance of dominance battles. He LOVES to play fetch. He's working on advanced obedience and doing very very well. Rehoming donation $250. He will come with 3 more training sessions, his crate, his bed, and food.
