Need Temporary help pruning a vineyard in Hansville WA. This is intricate work and must be performed to exacting technique and requirements, for which I will train you on. MUST HAVE at least one of the following qualifications: Vineyard work experience, Professional landscaping experience, or Production farm experience. Candidates much be able work close to ground level, but typically the pruning area is 12-14 inches off the ground, so if you are tall your back will begin to hurt in short order. For most body heights this is difficult work so your feet, knees, and back must be in good working order. If there are any issues in these areas, please do not respond to this add as this type of work will aggravate and or damage your health. The candidate not only needs to understand the technique and requirements for pruning wine grapes, but must be able to do so at a sufficient enough rate to make it economically feasible for me to have you doing the work. The candidate must also have the following qualifications: Work on Saturday or Sunday every week for the next two months, for 8 hours a week. Can work alone. Can work rain or shine in muddy conditions. Have the appropriate outside winter work clothes and boots. Does not let talking or gabbing interfere with getting the work done. Talking is ok as long as it does not slow you or others down. Get along well with others. Live in the North/Central Kitsap area. Have reliable transportation. Is punctual and shows up to work at the agreed upon times. (if you have issues with this please do not apply) Starting pay is $17/hour.
